Recommended for use on properly prepared weathered wood and concrete surfaces such as decks, porches and steps.

DeckCorrect™ by Cabot^® covers and corrects worn, weathered, exterior wood and concrete. This thick coating is enhanced with Polycarbonate Everbeads™ to fill cracks up to 1/4" and lock down splinters for a durable, dirt-resistant surface, skid resistant surface.

Requires 2-coat application. One gallon covers approximately 75 sq. ft. with 2 coats.

General:
Be sure surface is free of all dirt, mildew stains, loose wood fibers and other foreign matter. Surfaces must be sound and free of standing water. Remove loose splinters and replace severely damaged or rotting wood. Prepare previously stained or weathered surfaces with Cabot^® Problem-Solver^® Wood Cleaner, Wood Brightener or Wood Strippers. On severely weathered surfaces, sanding may be required to completely remove all loose wood fibers. Fill larger cracks with an exterior wood filler. Allow new concrete or masonry surfaces to cure for 30 days before coating with DeckCorrect™.

Mildew:
Any mildew stains present on the surface prior to application should be removed with Cabot^® Problem-Solver^® Wood Cleaner. Mildew stains are not caused by the coating, nor do they represent coating failure. This product contains agents that inhibit the growth of mildew on the coating's film.

Shake and stir thoroughly before and during use. If project requires more than 1 container, blend all containers together to ensure uniformity. Working in small sections at a time (1-3boards), use a nylon/polyester brush to dab DeckCorrect™ into cracks and rough areas before rolling. Use a 3/8-inch nap roller to apply a thick, even coat, rolling lengthwise along boards. Allow to dry 4-6 hours before applying second coat. Requires a 2-coat application. For best results, on vertical surfaces such as railings, Cabot^® Solid Color Stain is recommended. DeckCorrect™ and Cabot^® Solid Color Stain are available in complimentary colors.

Restrictions:
Do not apply in direct sunlight, to hot surfaces or when air or surface temperature is below 50 °F (10 °C) or may fall below 50 °F (10 °C) for 48 hours after application. Do not apply over wet or damp surfaces or when rain is imminent. Do not intermix with any other products. Do not thin. Protect containers from freezing. For exterior use only.

Clean brushes and equipment with soap and water. Dispose of empty cans or unused portion in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
